Background:
Network meeting with forum member organisations is one of the IRMF core aims
and objectives and all organisations are encouraged to attend.
Reasons and benefits: -
Through regular network meetings, local refugee and migrant organisations as well
as their respective beneficiaries: -
• Enable to share various knowledge, experiences, values and ideas
• Update each other and exchange of good common practices
• Debate on issues affect them on their daily lives
• Know each other about their services and projects
• Empower their self-confidence and capacity building support
• Share available resources and address service-gaps
• Involve in consultations, feedback and research
• Identify need and address service gaps
• Challenge to inequalities and discrimination
The IRMF forum members usually meet quarterly and sometimes we skip if the
network meeting coincides with other events or training that members need to
attend.
